A pioneer of private sector participation in water utility services in Indonesia – jointly owned by an established Indonesian Company and an International Water/Wastewater Utility Company is seeking a professional, qualified individual to fill the positions:

Corporate Legal
(Batam - Kepulauan Riau)

Responsibilities:
    Advising Board of Directors on all corporate and legal matters
    Acting as the Legal Advisor to the company
    Acting as Corporate Secretary to write, review and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, articles, and other documents
    Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company
    Develop and recommend company policy and position on legal issues
    Represent the company in various legal proceedings
    Prepare legal pleadings, motions, discovery, stipulations, etc
    Reviewing and advising on all contracts signed by the company
    Reviewing and advising on Customer Service Agreements issued by the company
    Liaising with the company’s external lawyers in case of litigation

Requirements:
    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Law, Business or equivalent.
    Required language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia
    At least 4 year(s) of working experience as Legal Manager/Corporate Lawyer in any industry, preferablypublic service industry
    Maintain a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
    Applicants must be willing to work in Batam.
    Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
