Drydocks World facilities operate in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. In Southeast Asia, Drydocks World unites leading expertise at the world’s crossroads of busiest shipping lanes, and close proximity to major offshore oil and gas field developments in Singapore and Batam Island, Indonesia. Diverse marine activities are focused in 4 shipyards, namely: Singapore, Graha, Nanindah and Pertama. Collectively these encompass 29 building berths, 8 floating docks, and a specialised rig building yard.

The right candidates for our yards must be able to develop and support an excellent safety culture and possess a sound knowledge of shipyard practices. They should also have practical experience in the rig building, shipbuilding or ship repair sectors, having held relevant positions in the marine or offshore industry. Pipe Fitter
(Batam - Kepulauan Riau)

Responsibilities:
    Ensure HSE and quality requirements are met.
    Perform all work to require standard as per qualification or as instructed by the Supervisor and foreman.
    Ensure daily productivity targets given by the foreman (Onboard / Workshop) are met.
    Optimum use of fabrication / fit-up tools so as to deliver maximum output.
    Mandatory reporting of work status / Progress, Tools damage and process errors to the respective Team leader, Foremen and Supervisor.
    Clear understanding of hot work permit and other safety permit boundaries and limits to start the job.
    Must always attend Daily Toolbox meeting.
    Must follow department “Work Instruction (WI)” procedure when perform duty

Requirements:
    Knowledge on pipe fabrication, joints and etc.
    Required at least General education / Technical Certificate/ Vocational Training.
    1 to 2 year experience in a Shipyard, Oil & Gas industry or equivalent.
    Able to speak English and Bahasa Indonesia preferred.
