Production Manager
(Batam)
The key responsibilities of this position include the following :
You will be responsible for overall management of a manufacturing cell, focused factory, or work center.
You will be responsible for leading a manufacturing team in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals.
You will coordinate with all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements
You will drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals.
You will leverage on resources and motivate personnel to create a high performance culture within the company.
The requirements for this position are :
Possess the knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
Have understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
Possess the knowledgeof Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.
Have thorough understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes.
Possess the knowledge of financial concepts and techniques utilized to establish value propositions of operational changes.
Posses the ability to direct and leadcross-functional process improvement teams.
Have multiple years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience
