Supplier Quality Engineer
(Batam - Kepulauan Riau)
Responsibilities:
Manage suppliers’ quality performance.
Manage the suppliers’ critical quality issues escalated by the factories.
Initiate and develop action plans to drive supplier quality performanceimprovement.
Develop suppliers’ capabilities through 6-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing:
Conduct continuous improvement projects with suppliers on critical business issues.
Train/ coach suppliers.
Define targets to establish and maintain supplier quality.
Conduct supplier quality audits.
Deploy corporate initiatives and train/ coach our supplier management staff at our factories.
Prepare supplier performance reports and interface with Schneider Electric’s regional headquarters about the findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
At least6-8years of relevantsupplier quality management experiences in Electronics/ Mechanical commodities/ supplier management, and familiar with manufacturing processes and technology.
Preferably possesses 6-Sigma Greenbeltor above.
Results driven with ability to multi-task.
A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills to drive outcomes with suppliers.
Customer service and quality oriented.
Good written and spoken English.
Willing to be based in Batam.
